Fun Ways My Toddler Learned Colors

Are you worried about teaching colors to your little one? Don't be! I'll share how I helped my 18-month-old recognize all colors through some engaging activities. Let's make learning colors a playful adventure!

Introduce colors to children with help of some activities-

👉Toy Adventure: Encourage your child to find specific-colored toys. Say, "Can you bring the pink ball?" This not only makes learning fun but also associates colors with their favorite playthings.

👉Show and Tell: Explore the world around you together. Ask, "What do you see?" When they notice something, ask about its color. For instance, "Look at the leaves. What color are they?" This interactive approach helps build a connection between objects and colors.

👉Flashy Color Cards: Introduce flashcards with vibrant colors. Make it exciting by flashing them quickly and asking, "Which color is this?" It's like a little game that keeps them engaged while learning.

👉Chart Paper Creativity: Grab some large chart papers and let your child unleash their inner artist. Draw simple shapes and color them together. This hands-on approach makes learning colors a creative and memorable experience.

👉Repetition Magic: Repeat colors in everyday conversations. Whether you're cooking, playing, or going for a walk, casually point out and talk about colors. Repetition helps reinforce the learning process.

Teaching colors can be an enjoyable journey for both you and your child. By incorporating playful activities like toy adventures, show and tell, flashcards, and chart paper creativity, you're turning learning into a creative and engaging experience.

Keep exploring and have fun teaching colors!

Toddler saying thank you and sorry?

The three magical words? Am I talking about I love you or something else, confused right. No, I am not talking about I love you. What I am writing today about is the three magical words which are 1. Please 2. Sorry 3. Thank you Do we expect someone to say these words when the situation arises, if yes do we ourself say it. If yes that's wonderful to hear and understand why you would expect the same. Now my question, is do we expect our children to say these words. Yes we do always expect them to say sorry or thank you or please, time and when required. So, how do we teach them to say those words. These words are magical because they convey empathy which is the only thing which connects emotions with other person. Children learn from what they hear, you don't have to teach them. There are so many instances I have had my foot in my mouth, I forget my toddler is listening to what I am saying. He picks up all those wrong words first. I wonder and promise myself to be more aware abou...

Mom's get in touch with a friend . Enjoy your me time.

Tired, sleepy, messy hair and loads of household work to do in your bucket list. The two little feet which entered your life shifted your attention span to so many things instead of career,  your looks, what you want to wear or what your mood is today. Moving away to a different city without any job in hand after marriage is always difficult, because you leave your family, your job, your comfort zone which was there for almost 28 years and most importantly your best friend. A person who knows you as she knows her back of her hand. The look on your face says it all to her, the eye speaking conversion, the horrible jokes, pulling each other's leg and what not. The wish of bucket list which we share, the stargazing, our silent conversion, being comfortable  with just the silence around us, the moon watching, long walks you miss everything in this new city. Still, you maintain the long-distance relationship, you still chat and miss each other for all the goo...

Birth giving and it's feeling

It’s good news! The pregnancy test stated I am pregnant. Two red lines turned my world upside down. Happiness, tears, and scary moments were there. Loads of questions and panic-filled moments too.  I first made a call to my husband, thank god for technology. I told him to come home; I was expecting. He was on cloud nine! He wanted to dance, celebrate, and shout to the world that he was going to be a dad. Months passed by, and my pregnancy progressed after a few complications. I delivered a healthy happy child. They say you won’t understand the feeling of being a mother unless you become one.  It’s true, I had a c-section. The doctors delivered the baby, they were saying congratulations, you have delivered a healthy child. I was in utter shock, I asked them if it was a boy or a girl. They said it was a boy. I immediately kissed him. Though it never matter ed if the baby was a boy or girl. We both only wanted a healthy baby nothing else. Days passed by since the two little...
